Email / DEFINED TERM

Drip Campaign

An automated series of emails sent on a schedule or triggered by specific user actions, designed to nurture leads toward a conversion.

IN DEPTH

Drip campaigns deliver the right message at the right time based on where a subscriber is in their journey. Common types include welcome sequences (after signup), onboarding flows (after purchase), re-engagement campaigns (for inactive users), and abandoned cart sequences (for e-commerce). Effective drip campaigns use personalization, A/B tested subject lines, clear CTAs, and progressive disclosure of value to move prospects through the funnel.
